Frequently Asked Questions
What is Fertility Coaching?
I specialize in coaching people that are going through or have gone through fertility challenges. My fertility coaching programs help you to better understand and address the emotional and mental aspects involved when it comes to dealing with infertility. I coach individuals and couples wanting to take control of their lives, maintain energy, and regain positivity while on their fertility journey. My objective is to help you gain emotional clarity and move toward your goals quickly.
Why work with a Fertility Coach?
Fertility coaching is meant to assist persons who are facing emotional barriers during their battle with infertility. Some common feelings are loneliness, desperation, grief, shame, anger, jealousy, confusion, and an overall lack of clarity in your life.
If you often feel like everyday life and decision making is being fogged by the emotional roller coaster of infertility, working with a fertility coach can help add clarity. I have walked a very long and painful road with infertility and can personally relate to your journey.
How is Coaching different from Therapy?
A Therapist: A therapist is most interested in the reasons behind why you are struggling. What’s in your past, or childhood, that presents a barrier to handling your current situation? They focus on why the problem is there.
A Coach: A coach offers a different type of relationship altogether. There’s a lot of asking and not much telling. They are your champion. They work with you to tap into what you already know and help you break through any limiting beliefs that may exist. A coach is cheering you on every step of the way. They focus on you.
What are the different ways you work with individuals going through infertility?
In the beginning sessions, my process is to talk with you, listen to your needs and understand what concerns are impacting your life. After these initial sessions, I will then provide some coaching tools to help you begin the process of taking back control.
If you feel like we are a good match, we can discuss options for coaching packages and begin a plan for how we will work together. I currently offer coaching packages for individuals and couples.
I don’t live in the USA, Can I still work with you? What do I need from a technology standpoint?
I work with clients around the world, as long they have access to a quiet place with no interruptions, as well as a stable internet and phone connection. It is also a requirement that the client can speak and understand English fluently.
Do you do in-person coaching?
I offer 1 and 2-day intensive coaching sessions for established clients, as well as couples retreats. I am also available for remote coaching sessions and occasional in-person workshops at clinics around the world.
I also work with fertility doctors and clinics in the Dallas-FortWorth area to offer in-person sessions at their offices from time to time.
My partner and I are struggling with our relationship and wanted to get coaching together. Can you help?
Absolutely! I love working with couples and helping them to gain an understanding of the full dynamic of your fertility journey together. I offer couples coaching and weekend retreats to support you as a team.
Do you offer special support for women?
I coach women to in the process of taking control of their lives during battles with infertility. In my coaching sessions for women, you will learn how to maintain energy level, achieve emotional clarity, and move towards your personal fertility goals.
What kind of support do you offer for men?
Men are often a forgotten entity when it comes to infertility. We put a lot of emphasis on women, often placing men in the role of “supporter.” Coaching men through the challenges of infertility is an area I have a great deal of experience in.
Working together, men will explore how to express themselves when feeling overwhelmed with emotion, as well as learn ways to support and reconnect with their partner.
